Liftline Surveys & Condition ReportsA detailed survey on an existing lift can provide important information with respect to its estimated life expectancy and also highlight possible problem areas which require attention to prevent escalating breakdowns. Current safety conditions are analysed in relation to modern current standards and any shortfalls listed. In the event that modernisation works are required, Liftline can specify the works in detail in accordance with an agreed budget estimate, obtain comparative tenders and oversee the works to completion. A survey can also allow a financial plan of anticipated future costs to be prepared to enable clients to budget for these costs over a five or ten year period. This is useful for new building acquisitions and budget formations. Liftline surveys can also include an analysis on current maintenance levels to ensure the agreed works are being carried out in a satisfactory manner. Liftline has undertaken various types of surveys on more than six hundred lifts and escalators in the last fifteen years, from single lifts in residential properties, to shopping centres containing more than 25 lifts and escalators, and housing estates with in excess of fifty lifts. |
